Effect of Oak Tree Sawdust Fermentation Period on Peanut Seed Germination, Seedling Biomass, and Morphology

Peanut (Arachis hypogaea L.) seeds were germinated to investigate the effect of fermentation period oak tree sawdust on germination viability and seedling characteristics. Its rate, weight, length, total vigor index assessed. The sown in fermented for 0, 30, 45, 60 days. rates significantly different. 45-day produced heaviest biomass weight (4.6 g) with longest true leaf (1.7 cm) hypocotyl (3.4 resulting highest (925.8). In contrast, 0-day had lowest (18.3). Microbiome analysis showed that microbial community changed as progressed, indicating seems affect seed physiology. Taken together, is recommended optimal peanut growth.
